Today was so hard. I woke up with a splitting headache that lasted all day. By lunch time I felt really nauseated. I decided to break my fast early and got a snack.

I got this granola bar, but I still didn’t feel any better. Later on someone brought cookies for us (I swear I’m a magnet for cookies). They were pumpkin flavoured wafer cookies. They were super delicious too. I had one and still wasn’t feeling any better. Near the end of the afternoon I had two more.
I walked out to meet my spouse and by the time we met up I was feeling really lousy. He had some snacks in the car. Guess what they were. Cookies LOL. I had a couple bites of cookie, probably bringing my cookie total to 5, plus a granola bar.

I got this football sized black bean pattie pita for dinner. It was huge and I ate half of it with an Advil. I still had the monster headache. I must tell you about one of the weirdest sensations I’ve had involving food. I was starving and completely stuffed all at the same time. I’ve never had those two sensations happen at the same time. I ate half the sandwich and still ravenous, but also stuffed. I was so full I was close to feeling uncomfortable and my stomach still hadn’t clued in. It was weird.
It’s later on in the evening I’m feeling much better now. The Advil has kicked the headache and I’ve just finished my other half of the sandwich. It’s rare for me to get a headache. This one was a doozy. I’m not sure if it was from doing OMAD (one meal a day), or because it went from a sunny day to rain. Right now I’m drinking a cherry Bubly and feeling a million times better.
I’m going to start calling you The Cookie Monster. (I have to admit I ate 2 cookies myself last night). The feeling of being full but still hungry? I get that a LOT! It used to be worse in my 20s. I think, for me, having IBS, it is that my stomach is empty, but my intestines are full. So it makes me feel full in my abdomen, but hungry in my tummy. It is weird. Be careful with the not eating through the day. I would definitely be passing out if I did that. I would be better eating lunch and not eating supper.

I’ve never felt that before. I would imagine that happening with IBS. I’m about to post again… It involves more cookies lol. I may have to do some cookie soul searching.

LOL indeed! I’m starting to see the problem with my previous eating habits.

Well they say seeing and admitting a problem is half the battle (the other half may involve a cookie ban).

Seeing is believing. I’m going to have to cut out most of these cookies.
