I got my first dose of the COVID vaccine and I’m doing fine. My arm is a little tender where I got the shot, but no side effects. I have some freaky allergies, I was a little concerned and went with the hospital location. As they are currently vaccinating essential workers, I was surrounded by police officers and hospital staff, I’ve never felt so safe getting a vaccine lol. All went well, the only advice I have is not to watch other people getting vaccinated. I could have done without getting a preview of the needle. I’m a big baby and it was fine.

On my way home I picked up my Cheese Of The Month at the St. Marys Towne and Cheese shop. It costs $30.00 and I believe it’s only available for pick up. So far I’ve been loving it. The cheese has been delicious.

This month’s cheese was Irish themed and once again we got a shaped cheese (I love when the cheese has a fun shape). I liked every cheese, the Cahill’s was my favourite. My first impression of it was a no and then it went to a yes, and ended up being my favourite. Funny how that happens.

  1. Irish cheese! That is something I’ve not seen before. Love your expression as you wait for the shot. Yeah, I refuse to look at needles. I’ve been known to pass out watching people donate blood (and also while getting blood taken). I am a bigger baby than you. LOL

    1. HAHAHAHA That was my face AFTER the shot lol. I’m a nervous barfer. I don’t faint. I feel like barfing is a more solid defense mechanism. LOL!!!
