Today’s mail brought me delight.

My Sizzix Big Kick die cutting machine had broken. I love to make cards and although I could still somewhat use the machine, it was a nightmare to cut with. It only partially cut and I had to shove things into it to make it work. Today, the new one arrived and I can’t wait to try it.

I got the replacement part for my food processor today.

I got this for Christmas years ago and although the base is built really well, the plastic jar became brittle and broke. Instead of getting a new one, I replaced it. I really like it, it does a great job and I wanted to keep it instead of trashing it. It makes pie crust so easy.

The little package was a cutting die. I will have to think of a cute card for an animal lover for this one. The little flower must be an extra add on. I didn’t order it. It’s cute too.
Very cool. Tell me about your food processor! My husband asked me what I wanted for my birthday (last week) and I said I want a food processor because I have never had one (I realized how badly I need one when I was trying to make pesto from the basil I grew!). So he told me to pick one out, but I have no idea which is the best! What brand is yours and what have you made with it besides pie crust (something I have not ever attempted!)? I see them on cooking shows and they can do so much and I NEED one, lol.
Also, I love the paw!

Happy belated birthday! I got mine years ago for Christmas from my brother. It’s the Cuisinart Prep 9. I think it does a great job, but I haven’t had any to compare it to. The plastic jar part didn’t hold up that well, but the base seems to be doing great. I’ve mostly made falafels, bread, banana nice cream, and now pie crust in it. It’s pretty great to have around. I also use it a lot in baking. I do, I use it a lot.
